The American Honey

2 oz Spring44 Honey
.5 oz Local Wheat Beer Syrup*
.75 oz Fresh lemon juice
Prep: Place all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice, then shake and strain into a rocks glass over new ice.
Garnish: Lemon wedge
*To make Wheat Beer Syrup, take your favorite local wheat (or other favorite beer, play around and have fun!) and pour it into a sauce pan. Place on medium heat and leave it until the beer starts to bubble up. Once it starts to bubble, remove and measure the beer. Add an equal amount of sugar to the beer and stir until all the sugar is dissolved. Let cool.
